I can name at least one! 

The Troll Bride

A traveler was wandering the forest and met the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen. Overcome with love (and probably the fact that this was the Middle Ages where your life was short and brutish and you may never get an opportunity like this again), he falls to one knee and asks her to marry him.

Turns out she thought he was pretty cute too. She says,

"Sure! but I gotta warn ya...

I'm a troll."

Delighted that he a found a woman who was funny as well as beautiful- he agreed. And they got married that day.

Well, sure enough, the very next morning, he rolls over and finds a bunch of branches sticking out of her back. He freaks out, and runs into the forest to process what the heck just happened.

He's muttering to himself things along the lines of "Why didn't she tell me she was a fairy? Oh wait, she did! I'm a moron! What do I do?"

Finally, he sits down on a giant rock.

"Well... you love her, don't you?" And old woman's voice whispers nasaly through the woods.

The man thought for a moment and said, "You know what? I do! I do love this woman! So what if she's a troll? I'm gonna go back right now and apologize and love her for the rest of my life!

... by the way... who's voice was that?"

"I'm her grandmother," The voice replied. "And... um... you're sitting on my nose."

The traveler goes back home, embraces his wife, and proceeds to kiss every branch on her back. As he kisses each once, they all bloom beautiful cherry blossoms.

And they lived happily ever after until they died.
