Matthias: Just so I’m understanding correctly… The dragon kidnaps a princess, uses her to lure men to her lair… And she lets them all go with nothing but a scratch?

Carrie: Ssh. I know, darlin’ He sure asks a lot of questions, don’ he?
Matthias: Welp! Thanks again for letting me stay and for patching me up, but I’m tired, so I’m gonna head to to sleep.
Carrie: Aww! Won’t you stay up a bit longer n’ have somethin’ ta eat?
Matthias: It’s awfully kind of you to offer, but I’m really tired and need to sleep… Before I say something else that’s gonna get me killed.
Matthias (narrating): I know every dragon is different… but this one’s just bizzare. Townsfolk don’t usually just go along with a dragon kidnapping their women… I’ve heard of dragons kidnapping maidens for decades at a time, but why? And this one? A coming-of-age trial? There’s got to be more to it than that… Maybe I’m missing something...
