So! I drew Ari's eye in the last panel a little ambiguous. Do you think she's angry, excited? I'm curious what you guys think. 

I hope you can forgive the short page today. I made this while my husband and I retreated to our cousins' place due to lack of power. 

So, something a bit adorable. I usually go through a few different drawing stages. There's the thumbnail stage- where I draw stick figures and figure out where everyone's gonna be, what they're going to say, and the general message about the characters, lore, or plot. The first draft, where the characters are super simplistic, borderline chibi, then the final stage, where they have that semi-realistic look you often see in fantasy art. Little Dan never got past the second stage, but I think this kind of works- he looks like an adorable chibi dude- and that's probably how Ari sees him.
