What do You Think of People?

One of the reasons why I enjoy drawing and writing dragons is because I like to think of the effect they have on people. Do they like people, or do they think of them little more than sheep? Something to be bred, then consumed?

I'm looking forward to exploring Ari's character arc. I'm thinking in this point of the story, she thinks she's more experienced than she actually is. She grew up her whole life around people who know her identity, and she's naturally kind and maternal. It's easy to excuse peoples' bad behavior like a customer at work, for example. Our first impressions naturally tell us they're like this all the time, but if you're going to survive in a retail environment, you have to give people the benefit of the doubt- you don't know what their day was like. For all you know, their dog died that day and they're just lashing out. 

So, I'm looking forward to taking her out of this environment and seeing how she'd react to people who do terrible things for terrible reasons.
