If you were an immortal being living nearby mortals, what do you think your dynamic with them would be like?
I've been having a lot of fun exploring this question when writing this story. Thinking about how seemingly insignificant things to an immortal would be alien and somehow integrated into the culture of nearby mortals. There's also the question of would they fear you? Would they always be seeking your advice? What would that look like?
What if your equally immortal sisters keep messing with your dynamic because that's the kind of thing sisters would do (yes, I've been having a lot of fun writing the dynamic between Ari and Briallen. I'm trying to go for how Ari tries to keep an air of mystery around mortals, but Briallen- who gives no fucks- brings out her more childish side).
Years ago, I've had versions of Ari where she was more of the "mentor" character- she's lived for hundreds of years, so to me, it didn't make sense for her to be all that playful and wanting adventure, but I didn't really like that version of her. Not because I didn't like the character, but because that wasn't really her. So, to work around this, I thought, "what if she was raised by creatures that can live as long as she can?" She's allowed to grow up more slowly, her curiosity about the world makes sense, and she's allowed to be the light-hearted young woman I originally wrote her to be.
I did, however, take the mature version of Ari and wrote that into Minerva's, and I'm much happier with the results. The more I write her character, the more interesting she's become. She also has a lot of myths around her as well, and I'm excited to open up what those rumors are, then reveal if they're true!

Good story background. While I read it on Webtoon because there were a couple issues on this site initially, I like seeing the extra notes here. Also, it looks like this comic may be better formatted on your own website than on Webtoon.
Oh, she came out of the wardrobe thingy. (How Narnian.) Is that what it’s meant for, or is that just a convenient spot to teleport into?
